Pre-Requisites: Minimum age of 16. Participants do NOT need to possess current CPR or First Aid certification. Basic certification is included. |
2011 FA/CPR/AED Instructor Schedule:
9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Cost: $500
Certification Requirement
·Attend and actively participate in all course sessions and be 16 years of age by the last day of the course.
·Successfully complete class activities, including practice-teaching assignments.
·Pass the instructor course final written exam with a score of at least 80 percent in each section.
Location: 1721 South Brownlee Blvd., Corpus Christi
Dates: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day
December 7-10
2011 Schedule: Class will be held the 2nd Tuesday through Friday of every month.
During the Lay Responder First Aid and CPR/AED Instructors Course, participants have the option of upgrading or crossing-over to teach a number of other safety courses from the American Red Cross.
Available at no additional charge:
Blended Learning- Instructors would give their participants the option of completing coursework and testing online. Once the online portion is completed, a participant would attend a skills assessment.
No additional Training required. Certified after self-orientation.
