First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course
Pre-Requisites: Minimum age of 16. Participants do NOT need to possess current CPR or First Aid certification. Basic certification is included.
Cost: $160.00, includes 1 set of participant books and 1 instructors manual
The DVD needed to teach the CPR/First Aid course may be rented from the Coastal Bend-Texas Chapter on a daily rate or purchased separately ($164.99 for the Schools and Community Program or $174.99 for the Workplace Program).
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ON CLASSES.
Certification Requirement
·Attend and actively participate in all course sessions and be 16 years of age by the last day of the course.
·Successfully complete class activities, including practice-teaching assignments.
·Pass the instructor course final written exam with a score of at least 80 percent in each section.

During the Lay Responder First Aid and CPR/AED Instructors Course, participants have the option of upgrading or crossing-over to teach a number of other safety courses from the American Red Cross.
Available at no additional charge:
Blended Learning- Instructors would give their participants the option of completing coursework and testing online. Once the online portion is completed, a participant would attend a skills assessment.
No additional Training required. Certified after self-orientation. Simply purchase the materials.
