Your portal to information on the earthquake and how you can help.
On Tuesday, January 12, less than one hour before sunset, a 7.3 earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port au Prince, causing catastrophic damage and loss of life. You can continue to provide the financial donations that will provide the necessary items of food, water, medical supplies, temporary shelter, and emotional support.
You can help those affected by countless crises around the world each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross International Response Fund, which will provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need. If you wish to designate your donation to a specific disaster like "Haiti" please do so at the time of you donation.
